What is the Sip and Savor Pass?
A Sip and Savor Pass is a bundle of “coupons” you can buy for one flat price at Disney California Adventure Park during that park’s festivals. You can then exchange the coupons for one food or beverage item each.
The latest iteration of the Sip and Savor Pass has both a physical and digital component. The coupons are digital and are tracked and deducted at the time you order your items. You exchange your coupons for menu items by scanning your physical pass at a dining location while entering a 4-digit code.
Is a Sip and Savor Pass just a Disney gift card?
Not really. Each coupon or credit on a Sip and Savor Pass can be exchanged for one eligible food or beverage item. The price of those items does not matter. In other words, a Sip and Savor Pass is not a gift card where you are deducting dollar amounts from the value of the gift card until you reach zero. Rather, a Sip and Savor Pass allows you to exchange one coupon for one item. Thus, the value of the Sip and Savor Pass to you is dependent on the value of those items.
Keep in mind that the eligible Sip and Savor items are designed to be tasting portions only. They are not full entrees. Thus, a Sip and Savor portion does not represented the same value as a similar full-size item on an eatery’s menu.
