Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the Disneyland Park land themed to all things Star Wars. Imagineers created a whole new planet as the setting for this land. The planet is called Batuu, and Black Spire Outpost is the largest village on the planet. Imagineers present this as a settlement built on the ruins of a previous civilization. The modern marketplace, ancient structures and petrified trees (the titular black spires) create an intriguing and multi-layered environment for character encounters, shops, eateries, Disneyland Park’s only bar (Oga’s Cantina) and the attraction Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Cast members dress and speak in-theme.
