When Imagineers created the land of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park, they were truly creating a whole world within the Star Wars universe: the planet of Batuu. Cast members in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge are tasked with reflecting the culture of Batuu. You will notice they have distinctive apparel and expressions, and they may call out a greeting to you: “bright suns” is the traditional greeting during the day (the equivalent of “good day”) while “rising moons,” is the greeting during evening hours (like saying “good evening”). Guests are also welcome and invited to use these greetings.
