Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the land in Disneyland Park themed to the Star Wars franchise. When this new land opened in 2019, it also added a new location to the Star Wars universe: the planet of Batuu. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a small part of this planet with a hidden Resistance encampment and Batuu’s largest village: Black Spire Outpost. Imagineers created Batuu to be a hub for smugglers, Resistance fighters and others hiding out on “the edge of the galaxy.” The First Order also has a presence here. Cast members here will speak and dress in-character.
