The Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites is just across the street from Disneyland Resort. We have stayed here, and we can see why this Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel is so popular. Keep reading for our take on the five best parts of the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites on Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim.
Location: This Best Western is Across the Street From Disneyland!
We think the location of this Best Western Hotel near Disneyland is the absolute best feature of these accommodations.
The address for the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites is 1544 South Harbor Boulevard in Anaheim. Harbor Boulevard is the Anaheim street that runs along the east side of the Disneyland Resort. There are many hotels along Harbor Boulevard, but this Best Western is positioned directly by the crosswalk that leads into the pedestrian entrance for the resort. Everyone staying in hotels on Harbor Boulevard is funneled into this one entrance.
Practically speaking, this means Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites has one of the shortest walks of any hotel to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The only hotel closer is Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Options for Larger Families and Groups Going to Disneyland
We like that the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites has a variety of room types including ones with sofabeds. This effectively takes the maximum occupancy of some rooms up to six adults. In our experience, the double sleeper sofa is also divide from the rest of the room by a little half wall. We thought this was a nice feature to the room which added to its live-ability for a group of five to six.
Cleanliness and Neutral Decor
We appreciated the cleanliness of this Best Western. We imagine that a popular hotel like this has a high turnover, but the rooms did not feel worn or dirty. The decor was all made-up of neutral colors: creams, tans and browns, and we felt calm and comfortable in our accommodations.
Best Western Rewards at a Hotel near Disneyland
The Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites by Disneyland participates in Best Western Rewards. If you travel frequently, it is certainly a nice bonus to be able to earn and redeem points for your stay. We joined their free rewards program to get the lowest room price available.
Free Breakfast by Disneyland
Next to the location, the biggest selling point for the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites is the free breakfast. More hotels near Disneyland used to do this, but this Best Western is one of the few remaining. If you see hotel reviews describing free breakfasts near Disneyland, be sure to check with the hotel itself for the most updated information.
When we stayed at Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites, we were instructed to go to the building just south of the hotel and up the stairs there for our breakfast. The breakfast room was clean and large. It had a buffet with hot and cold items, and we never had to wait for a table: there were plenty of seating options.
We do not have much to say about the food itself except that everyone in the family could find something they wanted to eat for each day we were there. This alone took a lot of stress out of our mornings. We did not have to worry whether we had enough strawberry yogurts or whether our pickiest eaters would suddenly change their minds about what they wanted. We knew that no matter how busy we got at the parks, at least we had all started the day with a substantial meal.
Thank you for reading about our experiences at the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites near Disneyland
The location and popularity of the Best Western Plus Park Place Inn and Mini Suites means that the price is (in our experience) often higher than other area hotels. You will have to do your own calculations to see how much that free breakfast and short walk is worth to your group. Other amenities included for the price are a basic pool, paid parking, free wi-if, a gift shop and guest laundry facilities. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again.
