The Sun is Shining: Shades for Everyone!
Last year at our house, everyone got a new pair of sunglasses in their Easter basket. All of those shades are in the links below, plus a few bonus options for your perusal. We all took our sunglasses on our next Disney visit, so you know they survived being knocked around a bit (looking at you, Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree) and we still use them. At the time of writing, all of these options are below $30.
Pink sparkly sunglasses for young royalty These come in other colors too, like these “Mint Goonies” shades. Oh yeah, these particular shades all hae 80s pop-culture names. We like that they have a few size categories for children.
We like these sunglasses for little ones, because they come with a strap to help keep them on wiggly heads. Our littlest Mouseketeer likes mirrored lenses on this pair, but they come in other colors as well.
For the adults in our house, we have quite a few pairs of Goodr sunglasses and like how they stay put even on the sunniest and sweatiest days. Goodr sunglasses are popular among runners, and they come in a variety of styles. Here’s their “OG” sunglasses in basic black, but you can find lots of different combos of shapes and colors.
Also in the category of sunglasses for active folks, we like Tifosi shades as well. Here’s a sporty pair of sunglasses for adults: the Amazon page says they get returned because they run large, but that is what we like about them. And, here’s another tough pair of Tifosi sunglasses for grown-ups who want a brightly colored pair of shades.
Finally, here is case we hang by our door to keep everyone’s sunglasses organized. It rolls up so we can use it to protect our sunglasses in our luggage when we travel. We recommend it for families!

It’s Spring TIME! Disney Watches for Your Easter Basket
Our kids all have watches like these. The “time teacher” marking helped them learn how to tell time, and wearing the watches helped our kids feel responsible and trusted. All of the links below lead to Disney, Pixar or Marvel-themed watches for kids, and we think these would be a cool and practical accessory for a Disney visit after being a fun Easter egg filler.
Here’s a watch for a Disney Pixar Cars fan.
Click here for a sweet Minnie Mouse watch.
Here’s another watch for your little superhero and Marvel lover.
And, one more watch for kids who like princesses.
Disney Flair for Your Spring Looks
We wrote about smart and comfy ways to dress like a princess in Disneyland here and shared some other DIY ideas here. Here are some quick Easter basket ideas for adding some Disney to your spring outfits.
Here is a water-based nail polish set themed to Disney princesses. We like this nail polish for kids.
Here is a set of body art pens we have not tried, but we like the look of them. You can get ones themed to Stitch or Disney princesses for some creative egg fillers.
These little character lip balms are cute and convenient for travel. There are several Marvel themed options that also work as keychains.
Lip Smackers makes a bunch products themed to Disney princesses and Mickey and his pals. They could fit nicely in an Easter egg depending on the size.

Just For Fun, Disney Easter Egg Fillers and Spring Basket Gifts
Wooden railway toys get a lot of play in our house, and Brio has made some sweet and durable Disney themed train toys. Here is a princess one.
We love toy cars for Easter eggs, and these mini Disney Pixar ones from the Cars franchise are a fun a choice. They are also great reference to one of our favorite lands at Disney California Adventure Park.
These little Disney “doorables” would also make good egg fillers.
Have you seen these little Mini-Brands capsules themed to Disney? They are like pre-stuffed Easter eggs. You could even use them to surprise yourself. Here is another pre-filled capsule; this one is for a “crystal surprise.”
We have the Moana version of this brush. Any of the brushes would look sweet in an Easter basket (see one in the main photo for this post). We bring these “Wet Brushes” to Disney, because they are good after swimming as well as for dry hair.
L-Egg-O
In years past I have used lots of little eggs to give our kids one big gift with the help of the childhood classic, Legos. I buy a Lego set for each kid and then enclose pieces from that set in a bunch of different eggs. Once the kids find all of the eggs (and Legos), I give them the instructions for building their new Lego set.
This gets a little tricky when a set includes large or oddly sized pieces, so I just keep those outsized pieces with the instructions in a basket and hand them over at the end of the Easter egg hunt. Here are some ideas for Disney-themed Lego sets:
A highly-rated set where you actually get to build the character.
A set from one of my favorite movies which echoes some nice springtime colors.
An easy-build set for younger kids.
A fun Guardians of the Galaxy set we got for Christmas and still have on display.
And here is a Star Wars set from the new SMART Play range.
Water Bottles for Easter Baskets
On the topic of practical Easter gifts for your Disney trip, let us look at water bottles. We bring reusable water bottles every time we visit Disneyland, so we think they would make for a colorful and practical spring gift.
We like the FreeSip feature on Owala water bottles that lets us sip from the integrated straw or take a big gulp of water. Here is a kid size FreeSip bottle.
Here is a larger Owala bottle for adults. The color on that last one is called “Shy Marshmallow”… maybe it just needs to make friends with some new Peeps? (sorry)

Back-up Batteries for Your Basket and Disney Trip
We wrote about how we always carry power banks (aka back-up batteries or external batteries) in this article: Essential Disneyland Accessory: Why We Use a Power Bank.
We share several suggestions for power banks in that article, but we are highlighting one here for your Easter basket. For a tiny spring surprise, we love the little nano power banks from Anker. They are compact, and we do not need to bring any charging cables into the Disney parks with us (find the USB-C here and lighting cable version here).
These back-up batteries might even be small enough to fit into a larger Easter egg, and even if they do not fit in an egg, their pastel colors are a classic spring palette. You could drop them into an Easter basket sans-egg or make them part of another pretty spring gift.
For other helpful in-park technology, you could put some Bluetooth trackers into eggs. We wrote about how we use them in the Disney parks here: How We Use Apple AirTags in Disneyland.
Here is a link for an Apple AirTag and here is the Tile version. And hey, if you activate them before the Easter egg hunt, you can even use them to find the hidden eggs.
