Previously known as Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel reopened as a Pixar themed hotel in 2024. It is located on the west side of the Disneyland Resort property and features primary colors and artwork inspired by Pixar films and shorts. It is one of three Disney-owned hotels at Disneyland Resort, and it is typically the lowest-priced of the bunch. Amenities at Pixar Place Hotel include several eateries, a gift shop, a pool area themed to Finding Nemo and a recreation court themed to Pixar short films. Accommodations include standard hotel rooms and suites, some with club lounge access

5 Reasons We Love the Pixar Place Hotel Guest Rooms
The first time we stepped into a room at Pixar Place Hotel, we were charmed by the beautiful artwork and delighted by the thoughtful room design.
As a family, we treasure creativity, and the guests rooms at Pixar Place Hotel (really the hotel as a whole) do a delightful job of paying tribute to the creative process. Furthermore, we truly appreciated all the little design decisions made when refurbishing those guest rooms. There were lots of little details that made us think the Imagineers behind Pixar Place Hotel really paid attention to how families vacation.

Deep Dive Into the Pixar Place Hotel Pool
As much as we enjoyed the Pixar Place Hotel guest room design, we still prefer to spend as much time as we can at the Pixar Place Hotel pool. The pool area is themed to the Finding Nemo and Finding Dory films. The sea turtle Crush tops what we have been told is the longest water slide at Walt Disney World, and he dispenses vocal encouragement as you slide. At the foot of the water slide is a nice squishy splash pad, and this juxtaposition is fantastic if you are keeping an eye on little and big kids at the same time. 5 Reasons We Will Return to the Pixar Shorts Court
Now I know I keep touting different “best” elements of the Pixar Place Hotel, but we really did think the Pixar Shorts Court was a stand-out offering for Pixar Place Hotel. This is a recreation area themed to the Pixar short films, which means it is full of lovely surprises for devoted Pixar fans. But, what we really appreciate is that it provides a wonderful place for kids to have some unstructured playtime. In the midst of a very stimulating Disneyland Resort vacation, we think a place like this is invaluable.
