Parents and caregivers of young children know how a tired toddler or a hungry kindergartner can change the whole tone of a trip. Here are five tips for helping the littlest visitors have a good trip to Disneyland Resort (which probably means a good trip for you too).
There are complimentary Baby Care Centers in each park at Disneyland Resort. They offer quiet places to care for young children. These facilities are staffed and include amenities like chairs for nursing, kitchens, bottle warmers, high chairs, changing rooms, changing tables and child-size toilets as well as vending machines with supplies which can be purchased
Disney refers to the chance to interact with characters—actors in costumes portraying characters from Disney entertainment—as “character experiences.” These may take the form of a reserved meal, a show or parade, spontaneous interactions in the parks or what many guests refer to as meet and greets: scheduled times and locations to have a brief personal interaction with one or a few characters. You can find these meet and greet opportunities listed under the “characters” tab in the Disneyland app: during the scheduled times, you may queue-up, as you would for an attraction, and follow the direction of attendant cast members.
