Disneyland Mobile Ordering Guide

Illustrated title with words “Mobile Ordering Guide” and drawings of a soft serve frozen dessert, popcorn, a churro and a sandwich cookie.

Disneyland’s Mobile Ordering service allows you to use the Disneyland app to order food and beverages from some quick service restaurants and stands around Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park and the Disneyland Resort Hotels. You can review menus, make your selections and then order and prepay from the app.

Keep reading for our step-by-step guide on how to use Disneyland Resort’s mobile ordering.

Get the Disneyland App

Download the Disneyland app and spend some time getting familiar with the and app and navigating its features. The app really is a powerful tool and has many uses beyond mobile ordering. We also suggest enabling notifications. This will allow the app to alert you when your mobile order is ready for pick-up. In preparation for your visit, you may want to look at different restaurants and review their menus.

Open Mobile Ordering

When you are ready to order your food on the day of your visit, start the mobile ordering process by first opening the app. Then navigate to mobile ordering in one of the following ways:

  • Select the add/plus (+) icon at the bottom center of the screen OR the menu icon (three lines) at the bottom right and select “Order Food” on the menu that pops up. On the next screen, choose a restaurant from the provided list and select “Begin Order.”
  • Select the map icon (upside down teardrop) at the bottom of your screen. Select “Dining” on the drop down menu at the top of the screen, and peruse the map. Locations that offer food or beverages are marked by an icon with fork and knife; the ones with mobile ordering capabilities show that fork and knife in a circle overlapping rectangle outline resembling a phone screen (see the screen shot image at the beginning of this article). Select one of these mobile order icons and then select “Begin Order.”
  • Scroll through the blocks on your app’s home screen until you see the one for mobile ordering. Select “Order Now”. Choose a restaurant from the provided list and select “Begin Order.”

Choose Your Pick-up Time

Check the arrival times and location of the restaurant you have selected. The arrival time is when you are expected to pick-up your food. Make sure that you can reasonably reach the dining location during that pick-up window. You can use the app to find the location on the interactive map. You may be able to use the app to select a convenient arrival window at this point, but during busier times, do not be surprised if the window is chosen for you.

Select Your Food and Beverages

Browse food and beverages on the restaurants menu. Items are sorted into categories including sections for those with dietary restrictions. Browse these categories for items that interest you. When you find something you like…

Select that item and make any offered customization to your choice (like choosing sides), choose your quantity and select the blue “+Add” button beside the item description.

Continue making selections for any additional items you would like from this restaurant. If you want to order from another restaurant, you will need to start a separate order. The blue bag icon in the upper right corner will display how many items are currently in your order. All done selecting or want to see what is in that imaginary bag? Then…

Examples are House-filled Beignets featuring Lemon Ice Box Pie Fillinf topped with Lemon Glaze for $4.49 and House Gumbo with Braised Chicken, Andouille Sausage with Heriloom Rice for $16.99.

Select “View My Order” in the blue button at the bottom of the screen, and see a list of the items in your order along with a subtotal. You can edit your order and continue to add items from here, or if you are ready to order…

Submit Your Order

Select “Review Order Summary” in the blue button at the bottom of the screen. You will again see a list of your chosen items, but now you will also see the total cost with taxes and a place to enter your payment information. Does this all look right? Then enter your payment information, and…

Select “Purchase” in the green button at the bottom of the screen. The restaurant now has your order.

Wait For Your Arrival Window

You can track the progress toward your arrival window in the app or just wait for a notification to alert you that your arrival window has begun. Head to the pick-up area during this arrival window, and once you are in the vicinity, you need to push an extra button…

Select the “I’m Here” button that shows-up once your arrival window has opened. (This extra step helps ensure that your food is made close to your actual pick-up and your Dole Whip is not a melty mess.)

Pick-up Your Food

Look for a notification from the app that your order is ready. When alerted, head to the designated counter or window to pick-up your food. Most restaurants will have a sign directing guest to the spot where mobile orders may be collected and the alert may also indicate a particular window when it arrives.
