Genie is a complimentary service for guests to the parks of Disneyland Resort. It is distinct from the paid add-on originally called Genie+ (newly renamed Lightning Lane Multi Pass). Through the Disneyland app, Genie provides a suggested itinerary for guests to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park based on current wait times as well as guests’ preferences. The service can be accessed from the app’s opening screen and suggestions can be found in the “My Day” section. Guests are not obligated to follow these itineraries: this is simply a complimentary service that some may find helpful.
