DOLE WHIP

This is an entry in our Disneyland 101 Glossary: Disneyland Resort definitions in under 101 words, from Mouse Brief.

Though not exclusive to Disneyland, many fans associate the Dole Whip with the resort. It is a frozen whipped pineapple dessert that is similar in appearance to a soft-serve ice cream, but it is, in fact, dairy-free. This treat has reached such iconic status among fans that you can find its image or even scent reproduced on all kinds of merchandise. You can purchase the Dole Whip in soft-serve or float form in Disneyland Park near Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room (you can even bring one inside the attraction) in Adventureland or at Tangaroa Terrace in Disneyland Hotel.
