Disney Vacation Club, or DVC, is a time-share arrangement through the Walt Disney Company with member properties at Disneyland Resort as well as Walt Disney World and other resorts not located near theme parks. People who buy into this membership sign long-term contracts involving an initial payment and annual dues. Members use an annual allotment of points to rent DVC rooms, called villas. It is sometimes possible to book these villas with Disney without holding a DVC membership. It is also possible to rent DVC points from owners through third party brokers or directly from the owners themselves.
