PARTNERS STATUE

This is an entry in our Disneyland 101 Glossary: Disneyland Resort definitions in under 101 words, from Mouse Brief.

The bronze statue in the hub of Disneyland Park (directly south of Sleeping Beauty Castle) is called Partners. It depicts Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse hand in hand, and it was installed in 1993 to commemorate Mickey’s 65th birthday. The sculpture was created by Blaine Gibson, and copies of Partners can be found in Disney parks around the world as well as the Disney Studio lot.
