Tiana’s Bayou Adventure officially opened in Disneyland Park on November 15, 2024! We have information about how to experience this new attraction in our post How to Ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Disneyland! But, what if you want to find other ways to celebrate Tiana and her bayou friends in the parks or at home? Keep reading for our suggestions on ways to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure without taking the ride.

Celebrate Tiana’s Bayou Adventure with Good Food!

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure features our favorite former-frog’s business, Tiana’s Foods. Why not celebrate with some food?

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Food in Disneyland

You can grab some food at Tiana’s own Disneyland Park restaurant: Tiana’s Palace. Jambalaya, gumbo, muffuletta sandwiches and beignets: Tiana’s Palace has it all. This is a quick service restaurant where you can mobile order your food (see our guide to that time-saving trick here).

For other New Orleans treats inside Disneyland Park, there is Royal Street Veranda, Blue Bayou Restaurant, Cafe Orleans and Mint Julep Bar all in New Orleans Square.

Outside the parks in Downtown Disney District there’s Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio, and take-out beignets at Beignets Expressed. Tiana herself may make an appearance at the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

Cook Like Tiana at Home

Disney Parks Blog has a recipe for their Mickey beignets right here: you can make them at home for a Tiana-themed treat. The gumbo recipe straight from Tiana’s Palace is on the blog as well.

Enjoy New Orleans Square

New Orleans Square might be our favorite places to get lost at Disneyland Resort. This charming little land is unique to Disneyland Park. While it might resemble the actual French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana in a Imagineered way, there is no other New Orleans themed land in any other Disney theme park. The details are exquisite, and we always feel immediately transported once we step inside New Orleans Square.

Meander the winding streets (it is not really a square) and check-out the special shops here. There are also some specifically Princess and the Frog themed shops both here (Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets) and in Bayou Country (Louis’ Critter Club and Ray’s Berets).

Listen to Some New Orleans Jazz

Hopefully you catch some jazz while visiting New Orleans Square. The entertainment schedule will vary by day, so check the Disneyland app and website for the latest.

New Orleans Style Jazz at Disneyland Resort

You might find some sets at the Jazz Kitchen Music venue in the Downtown Disney District. If you are lucky, you can catch the Jamabalaya Jazz Band in New Orleans Square or riding the Mark Twain River Boat. Across the Esplanade, Five & Dime frequently entertain guests in Disney California Adventure Park

Tiana’s Bayou Music at Home

You can also listen to The Princess and the Frog soundtrack at home or join Tiana’s friends in making your own music! For a nostalgic treat, look for music from The Firehouse Five Plus Two: a jazz band comprised of a group of Disney Imagineers and animators from the company’s early days.

Of course, you can always watch The Princess and the Frog film at home too! It is currently available on Disney+. We also love borrowing movies from our local library: you can see if yours has a copy!
